More about the book 'Knock yourself up', about how single women and lesbians can buy sperm over the Internet to have children without any present father.

I'm starting to believe that unrestrained freedom is actually harmful. This is the type of book that would've been BANNED by Catholics back in the day in Europe.

Imagine for a second the horror a child would experience upon first learning about the relationship(or lack thereof) between his father and mother if he were conceived in this manner. It reminds me of Norman Bates' mother. But she loved and wanted him sooo much! Yuck.

Darren,

you seem to have missed this, the second important UK story of the day, the ease with which a woman, any woman, can bring up charges of rape against a partner that has chosen to end the relationship. Even when charges ultimately are dropped, there's no penalty for the woman for false accusation, etc. Please blog this asap and, especially, a summary of all 70+ original story comments to date. It's too good to miss...
