Women and competition

When a woman becomes a man's competitor, he no longer feels a bond nor a sense of responsibility for her.- Eva Herman

They don't compete for fun, they compete to win. Women will use any dirty trick they can to beat you. If your competing for a job, she'll do anything to beat you.

The comment above is undoubtedly true. But the point is that this is the nature of competition. Why show shock or even disapproval that women compete to win. It is their right to do this if they wish. Their behaviour is not to be set by our wishes. So the point is men must compete with women and fight as hard as they can. Sadly they seem almost catatonically incapable of doing this. May be this is due to men somehow being misinformed; and as AH is fond of telling us the Internet will change all that. He might be right but I doubt it.

Women and feminist may treat men badly - of that there is no doubt - but not nearly as badly as men treat each other. So competing with another man will be no better than competing with a woman.

Let them compete all they want, soon they will pay the price for their bad choices(no husband,no kids, all alone by themselves), here in Portugal is happening the same, but a considerable number of women are realizing this and are changing their atitude towards men.
Also women don´t compete as men do, while men compete on a base of fairness(man-to-man), women play all the dirty tricks they can because its all they got, women can never compete with men on an equal basis, simply because we are not equal.

What the hell are you guys talking about? The point of the quote is that you can't have it both ways. Either you can compete (think "workplace") and be equal, or not and be taken care of. The latter appears to be the general desire, but the former is what Western womanhood has been brought up to think of as right. So there's a disconnect and a dissatisfaction and frankly, they cannot coexist. Can't have it both ways.

pergrine, you have it exactly right. That is why so many Western Women are in a state of cognitive dissonance and cannot comprehend that the very thing they are angrily demanding - that they be treated "equal" and given a "fair" chance to compete with men, is the very thing that makes them so unhappy and proclaim "there are no good men out there!"

Once you have run all the good men off, you will be left with nothing but the bad men.

There was a time where both men and women knew their strengths and weaknesses and protected and provided for each other.

Those days are currently passed with the laws that now try to make the sexes the same.

Good discussion guys. The happiest people I know have abandoned competition in favour of assigning roles based on natural talent. Men, women - doesn't matter. If they're good at it and enjoy doing it, that's the way things should work.

Here in Australia, it is frequently mentioned in the media that there is a man "drought". There are plenty men to go around, but now men are rejecting the abhorrent transformed nature of what women have begun. What I love is that now men have begun to become feminised, so guess what when 200 million Muslim Indonesians come to invade our "Sissy" nation? They will easily take over.
