Yet another sexual double standard

A top tennis coach is facing jail after being convicted of having a year-long lesbian affair with a 13-year-old girl she was training.

When an adult woman is in a position of authority over an underage child and ends up having sex with them its called an 'affair', but when the exact same situation occurs with a man as the perpetrator its called pedophilia or a serious sexual assault.

I read through that article and not once was there any mention of the word pedophile or pedophilia. Yet you can bet if it had been a man there would have been.

Anonymous said...: I bet you that she will get about 3 years and in my heart this with all the other punishment is about right,then again the chap who had sex with an under age girl,she made first contact,she initiated intercourse,she told him she was 16,the judge said she looked much older,the doctor said she looked older still had his jail term upped from 2 to 4 years,it wasn't rape,it was concensual but they still called it rape,paedophilia
still on the sex register.
A woman correspondent reckoned he should have got 15 years,so I said

Turn of the tide: feminists begin to regret

Cosmopolitan (The women's magazine that urges women to use men for sex) Editor Lorraine Candy has a change of mind and now urges women not to have "Soul-less sex":
