The sun is setting on the traditional press

Something hit me the other day: how boring The Times newspaper has become in comparison with reading all my favourite blogs and websites. My Google RSS reader is now the daily paper, the scientific journal and the magazine all rolled into one. The traditional newspapers are becoming bland, tacky and boring in comparison.

Yes, that's right.

I go through the UK papers and pick out the articles that look interesting.

I don't necessarily read them, because they are usually peddling a load of PC crap.

What I do read are the email comments sent in by readers.

They generally run entirely counter to the PC line promoted by the newspapers, and they are far more interesting because they represent what ordinary people are thinking.

This is fundamentally undermining the control that feminists have had over the media for quite some time, and there is nothing they can do about it.

That is why they are trying to get hate speech laws passed - to regain control, but frankly I think they have lost it.

The tide is turning and this is going to become a gloat-fest for men's rights activists!
