These types of mass shooting incidents are obviously tragic and disturbing, however, what I also find deeply worrying and surprising is the lack of questioning about them, particularly from the media. For example, at the most basic level, there doesn't seem to be a clear explanation of the details of what happened. There were reports that there was more than one shooter involved, there were some reports that the mother of the alleged shooter was involved with the school in some way, and then later reports that she wasn't. And so on. Just read around online about it, you'll discover there are many details which don't seem to cohere into the official story.Where are the investigative journalists digging into the details and trying to work out the exact timeline of what happened? Do investigative journalists even exist anymore? (seems more journalism is just regurgitating official press releases).
However, even if you accept the official story there is still the fact that needs to be accounted for: Why are these mass shootings virtually always carried out in schools? WHY? It makes no sense. Even if these supposed loners and social outcasts (who, incidentally, always seem to be on some kind of anti-depressant drug, another fact which the journalists don't seem to be interested in), are so deranged and angry with the world that they want to shoot people, why do they always choose schools? Why don't they ever target other buildings or areas with other types of people. Its always children.
