Divorce is bad for the environment

If all the couples who divorced in the US had stayed together, in 2005 alone they would have used 2373 billion litres less water and 73 billion kilowatt-hours less electricity.

It will be interesting to see if, as the pressure for us to conserve resources grows, governments and societies will look upon divorce less favorably.

As one who is strongly against marriage I don't know how to respond to this.

Since women and marriage offer nothing to a man I can hardly bemoan divorce.

What I do bemoan is the stripping of a man's work ( i.e. assets) in divorce.

You see in many ways I wish what the feminist say was true. I want women to be self reliant and independent which means they stand on their own feet and don't take anything that is not theirs. Fat Chance!
