Female pederast jailed

A primary school teacher who sent sexually explicit text messages to a 14-year-old boy whom she met through an interactive computer game was jailed for 12 months yesterday.

Notice how whenever a man is caught doing something like this it is viewed as a weakness in his character - hes called a pedophile, pedarast or pervert - yet when a woman does it, its excused away as a temporary act in response to some greater problem that she is suffering, such as depression.

The man gets demonised, and is seen as fully responsible for his actions. The woman gets sympathy and is seen as the victim and not fully responsible for her actions.

Having said that, at least in this case the woman's defence didn't work. Lets hope they don't have video games in jail, eh?

Cosmopolitan (The women's magazine that urges women to use men for sex) Editor Lorraine Candy has a change of mind and now urges women not to have "Soul-less sex":
