Canadian university dumps cystic fibrosis fundraising as the condition mainly affects white boys and men

As the Carleton University Students' Association prepares to revisit its controversial decision to drop a cystic fibrosis charity as the beneficiary of its annual Shinearama fundraiser, students at the Ottawa university have taken to Facebook to vent their frustrations over how and why such a motion could be passed.

They claimed that they wanted to pull out of raising money for cystic fibrosis after discovering that it mainly affects white boys and men.
