"ALL the skulduggery now being investigated seems to have started right in the middle of what we must now refer to as The Blair Years.
Is it just coincidence that the sleaziest premiership of my lifetime was co-synchronous with shoddy behaviour right across the spectrum? Politics, commerce, banking, bureaucracy, police, rigged ballots, embezzled expenses, fixed competitions, invented quotes, crooked bonuses. What are the bookies’ odds they are all completely unconnected? Or is it true that a fish rots from the head down?"

Also: Peter Hitchens: Far from getting rich on the lecture circuit, Mr Blair should be doing penitential charity work in the children’s wards of one of the many cities he helped to bomb and shell. And that’s for his own sake as well as ours.

Turn of the tide: feminists begin to regret

Cosmopolitan (The women's magazine that urges women to use men for sex) Editor Lorraine Candy has a change of mind and now urges women not to have "Soul-less sex":

"We didn't feel ashamed about one-night stands...this, we thought, is what feminism is about."

70s feminist Fay Weldon now says:

"It is the fault of me and my like, who... got it wrong.

So were we wrong, we feminists, setting women free? The results have been devastating – greater than we ever imagined.

We steamed ahead, changing the world with too little caution, and I hope the future will forgive us.

60's feminist Doris Lessing now says:
